How we got here

Many years ago I had a pipe dream of traveling in a home on wheels with my dogs to experience and see the country. I've always loved the mountains and well, Ohio doesn't have them. I wanted the freedom to change my scenery at will, to push my boundaries and stop being comfortable.

Fast forward

In Fall 2021, I found a van. It was a bit older than I wanted but it had low miles. Because of the pandemic, vans were hard to find and had increased in price by ~$10k, so I bought it. The conversion to a home was slow initially but in late Summer 2022 my Dad started busting his ass daily and built the damn thing! By late January 2023, the build was complete and the dogs and I started to move in.

We've spent these first few weeks settling in, organizing, making a few modifications, purchasing some final items for the road and figuring things out.
